Rental Process

Application Process

All applications must be completed in their entirety before they are processed. This means that all parties over the age of 18 years old have filed out an application and paid the application fee of $50. We must also be provided with references, the most recent pay check stub, and a copy of your Driver’s License or State ID.

Once an application is complete it will be processed. This process may take up to 1 week. We will notify you to let you know if your application has been accepted or denied.

Tenant Process

If you have been accepted as a tenant you must pay the holding deposit ASAP in order for the property to be held for you. Failure to pay the holding deposit in a timely fashion may result in you losing the rental to another tenant. If you would like us to a hold a property for you, please print and fill out the Holding Property Form. This agreement will allow us to take the property off of the market and be held for you. At the time of move-in after completing the move-in inspection and signing the lease the Holding Deposit will covert to your Security Deposit.

Once the deposit has been paid we will arrange a move-in date. At the time of move-in all fees and deposits must be paid along with the first month’s rent.

All tenants are required to have Renters Insurance. Backyard Realty Group, LLC is not responsible for any items, renters insurance is a MUST.
